Trevi Celebrates Dual Nomination at 2024 Devon & Plymouth Chamber Awards
Trevi was delighted to receive nominations for two prestigious Devon & Plymouth Chamber awards in 2024: ‘The Community Champion’ and the ‘Lifetime Achievement’ awards.
The awards ceremony, held on Friday, 17 May, at Crowne Plaza Plymouth, saw hundreds of guests enjoying an unforgettable night celebrating the achievements of local businesses and organisations. With over 160 nominations across 12 categories, the judging panel faced the tough task of selecting three finalists for each award.
Trevi’s impactful ‘ENOUGH’ campaign was recognised in the ‘Community Champion Award’ category. This award honours organisations that facilitate, participate in, and enable community engagement, exemplifying the power of giving back.
Additionally, Hayley Everett, Trevi’s Head of Fundraising and Communications, was honoured with a nomination for the ‘Lifetime Achievement’ award, acknowledging her outstanding contributions to charities in Plymouth and beyond.
Trevi proudly achieved finalist positions in both categories.
Hayley Everett said, ‘We were thrilled to be nominated for two awards this year. Despite the incredible challenges we have faced, I am immensely proud of the work Trevi has accomplished in supporting women affected by domestic violence and abuse. These nominations help us raise the profile of our vital work, not only here in Plymouth but across the UK. We hope to continue making a significant impact in the lives of women and their families.’
Trevi continues to support over 1,000 women and children every year through our four services based in the city.
