Some groups are drop-in, which means you can come along without booking.
Some courses need booking or registration so we can make sure there is space and the right support in place.
Some courses are rolling, which means you can attend any session in any order.
However you choose to access the groups and courses available at the Women’s Centre, we’ll first need you to register. You only need to do this once.

We offer support for women who have experienced domestic abuse, harmful relationships or trauma.
Our rolling and bookable courses include Own My Life, the Freedom Programme and Trauma Stabilisation. These help women understand patterns of abuse, recognise its impact and develop tools to support their safety and recovery.
Specialist support is also available for women from the Armed Forces community.

We offer a range of health and wellbeing support to help women look after their physical and emotional health.
Our programme includes a Menopause Café, where women can talk openly, share experiences and access trusted information in a welcoming space.
We also invite health practitioners and specialist organisations to the centre to provide health checks, breast awareness guidance, menopause support and advice on a range of women’s health issues.

Our creative and social activities can help you learn new skills, meet others and enjoy time together in a welcoming, women-only space.
Activities include knitting, crochet, hand sewing, using sewing machines, badge making, and general arts and crafts.
It doesn’t matter whether you are a complete beginner or already have experience. Materials, practical guidance and support are available.
