Make a Will Week 2025

You can make or update your will with us during this year’s Make a Will Week, which will take place from 9 to 13 June 2025. Help us reach more women and children affected by domestic abuse and violence with our specialist services and support.

our impact

Our services are built on a foundation of compassion, respect, and a deep understanding of the psychological and social factors that impact women in recovery. By providing services that address these complexities, we help women not just heal, but thrive.

As we look toward the future, we are excited to continue expanding our reach and impact, ensuring that all women can access the resources, support, and care they deserve. Our work is far from done, and we remain passionate about breaking down the barriers that prevent women from receiving the help they need to live healthy, fulfilling lives.

get involved

Our dedicated volunteers are essential to our work, contributing in areas such as reception, finance, administration, peer mentoring, gardening, fundraising, thrift, maintenance, and more. Their support is invaluable in helping us provide the care and services our community needs. If you’d like to get involved please contact us.

job vacancies

We are seeking women who are ready for a new challenge and have a strong passion for creating positive outcomes for families and children. If you are dedicated to making a difference, we would love for you to join our team, get in touch for more information.

our vision

Our vision is for a society where all women in recovery can access good quality, psychologically informed, gender-based interventions without apology.

Since 1993 we have helped transform the lives of thousands of women and their children. From rehab and health to housing and employment, we help any woman in recovery move from “surviving” to “thriving”.

The experience of the women we support informs everything we do, from the services we provide to our influencing and campaigning work.

Every 15 minutes another child is taken into care. In some cases baby is removed within days, before mum has been given a chance to prove she can be a good mum. Sadly, domestic abuse, addiction and mental ill health is on the rise.

We’re working to change this. Please help us to ensure that more women and children have the chance to break free and are given a fresh start in life.
