We offer a range of personal development courses via our Sunflower Women’s Centre.
Our courses are designed to help women with a range of issues, including self-esteem, parenting, relationships, trauma recovery, addiction, mindfulness, maths, and English. Empowering them to move forward in life and gain essential employability skills.

training for professionals
We can deliver training for students and professionals ranging from lectures and seminars to bespoke workshops. Our training is anchored by a trauma responsive approach; our Tutors can be accompanied by Peer Mentors to bring issues to life, providing an authentic opportunity for deeper learning.

conferences and public speaking
We are happy to speak at conferences or public events. We can talk about our services more generally, or specific issues facing the people that we support, such as trauma, domestic abuse, stigma or addiction.
We are also proud to have hosted a number of successful webinars focussed on issues such as supporting women who are exiting prostitution and best practice assertive outreach.

Our Women First Consultation team is led by our CEO, who has 20 years’ experience in the health and social care sector. Also on the team are a group of ‘Experts by Experience’ who will bring their lived experience of accessing both mixed sex and women only services to help you develop or improve yours.
