Join the orange movement for 16 Days of Activism against gender-based violence.

Join the orange movement! The Soroptimists Plymouth, invites you to participate in their community walk through the heart of Plymouth in aid of Trevi.

The purpose? To raise awareness and foster solidarity during the 16 days of activism. On November 25th, which marks the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, we’ll stride purposefully together.

Why walk? Because every step counts. This peaceful charitable event will commence at 2pm from the green by Drake Circus on Cornwall Street and will be opened by the Lord Mayor. As we finish the route we’ll gather at the Nancy Astor statue on the Hoe, where Alexis Bowater OBE will bring our walk to a meaningful close.

Orange is the colour of change! Thanks to the generous sponsorship from Britvic TANGO, the walk will be awash in vibrant orange. We encourage you to wear orange and carry orange banners, placards, posters—anything and everything orange! And yes, even your furry companions can join the cause. Dress them in a splash of orange if you can!

Spread the word, and share the stride! Whether you start, finish, or hop in at any point along the route, let’s paint Plymouth orange and collectively say: No one stands alone. Together, we can ORANGE THE WORLD!
