Role summary
As a Domestic Abuse Practitioner, you will deliver a range of services that will meet the needs of families and individuals at risk of and affected by domestic abuse.
You will be responsible for offering advice, information and guidance on issues such as safety planning, domestic abuse, benefits, move on accommodation, education, positive parenting (where appropriate), training, employment, and physical and mental health, working within the Safe Accommodation Support Service Plymouth.

We also campaign for change and contribute to the national voice working to end violence against women and girls.

About the role
This role focuses on providing Direct Support to Individuals and [what the role delivers – e.g. safe systems, consistent support, regulated practice].

What you will bring
- IDVA Qualification or willing to work towards
- Experience of safeguarding responsibilities for vulnerable adults and/or children
- Knowledge of domestic abuse, sexual violence, and the impacts
- Ability to be positive, proactive and flexible in approach, flexible to change
- Strong communication and organisational skills

Employment is subject to an Enhanced DBS check; the cost of which will be reimbursed by Trevi.
