Devon Women in Business support Trevi’s Life begins fund

Trevi was delighted to receive a donation from the Devon Women in Business first annual Awards ceremony.

Hosted on the 4 March at the Passage House Hotel in Newton Abbot, the awards are a moment to recognise and celebrate the incredible, successful women in business in Devon.

Hayley Dann, Trevi Fundraising & Marketing Lead, says, ‘We were thrilled to be chosen as the Devon Women in Busines Awards official event charity. A big well done to all the inspirational women who were nominated and a big congratulations to all the winners on the night. A big thank you to everyone who bought tickets – there were some stunning prizes!

Louise Jenner hosted the evening, and she spoke of Trevi, ‘When Hannah Shead and her colleagues came to speak at a Devon Women In Business Networking Lunch in 2019, they made such an impression on all of us. Two years later, Trevi was the obvious choice for us to support at our very first Awards Ceremony. We are delighted to be able to raise funds for Trevi and to help other women in Devon and beyond to get their lives back on track.’

The evening’s raffle raised over £200 for the charity and included some fantastic prizes from many local businesses. The donation will help aid women’s recovery from trauma such as domestic abuse through our Life Begins Fund. This vital fund has two strands: 1—sponsored placements at our residential service, Jasmine Mother’s Recovery and 2. Support via our Sunflower Women’s Centre to heal, grow and thrive.

Trevi supports more than 700 women and children every year.
