Getting to know our CEO

Hi, I’m Hannah, and I’m the CEO here at Trevi. I joined the team in 2011, which feels like a lifetime ago.

My Time at Trevi

I vividly remember coming for my interview. I was living and working in London at the time, and was looking to ‘come home’ to Devon.

I came to visit Jasmine, what was then known as Trevi House. I met a resident who was due to leave and another pregnant woman who had just arrived that day. I chatted with different staff members and spent some time in the nursery. I was blown away by the work happening here and just knew I wanted to be part of it. I have never looked back!

There have been some tough times over the years…I have sat alongside women as they have been parted from their children, and it is a deeply painful thing to witness. But I consider myself hugely blessed to have seen so many more examples of women and children staying together because they have been given an opportunity to come to Trevi.

Lots has changed over the years, and it’s been fantastic to watch Trevi grow from strength to strength. I love the fact that we are reaching so many more women and that we are working with more women and families here in Plymouth. We are, after all, a Plymouth charity and are proud of our local heritage!

I am proud of the fact that Trevi is a charity that holds hope for people, no matter what has happened before they come to our door. The teams at Trevi are amazing; they all work so hard and make Trevi what it is.

I am looking forward to seeing what the next step of the journey brings.
