Part of the award-winning women’s charity Trevi, is Jasmine Mother’s Recovery where our dedicated and expert team works with each mother to help her break her addiction for good and to be the best mother she can be. We are looking for an experienced and confident individual to join the Jasmine Recovery Team.
We are searching for a Mental Health Lead to work with our residents, supporting them with their detox programmes and any health appointments they are required to attend. The successful applicant will be a qualified nurse with experience of mental health, administering controlled drugs and medication to individuals. Supporting them to choose a substance free lifestyle and make healthy choices for their children. The successful candidate will also lead on health initiatives such as healthy eating, cessation of smoking, immunisations, and other similar programmes.
Jasmine Mother’s Recovery’s unique service offers a safe space for detoxing and rehabilitation whilst supporting the Mother to identify what changes they need to make to keep their child safe. The aim is for the Mother and child(ren) to return to the community having successfully completed their detox. We have developed a reputation for offering a nurturing service for both children and their Mothers, yet also able to make clear recommendations for the court arena, if the child(ren) are subject to Care proceedings.
The role is a strategically significant one for both Jasmine and the Daffodil Family Centre and brings with it both opportunity and challenges. It will suit someone who has a passion for working with women who have a history of drug and alcohol dependency and with a desire to deliver high quality care to vulnerable families
