our impact

Our operations have grown over the past 30 years, but we have always remained resolute in our dedication to some of society’s most vulnerable.

In 2020 we were chosen from more than 400 charities across the UK, as one of the 10 winners of the 2020 GSK Impact Award.

The difference we made in 2023-2024

  • We supported over 1000 women with our services in 2023/2024.

  • At our Jasmine Mother’s Recovery (now Jasmine Mother & Child) rehabilitation centre, 74% of women successfully detoxed, almost 90% of children remained with their mother.

  • In 2023-24 Jasmine saved the public purse £6.46 million.

  • Over five years alone, Jasmine represents an ethical and cost-effective saving to local authorities of almost £491,000 per family.

  • 96% of women supported through our Sunflower Women’s Centre said it was a lifeline, with 85% being able to move forward in life..

  • Since November 2023, 151 women have been supported by our Blossom Service.

130 women supported by our Blossom Outreach team

  • Over the past year, the courts have supported our 89% of our decisions made by our Daffodil Family assessment Centre. 11 out of 18 families left together, and of those who continue to parent in the community, 73% have remained together.

  • To date, Pause Plymouth has worked with 103 women across four communities.

  • In November 2023, we opened our ‘Blossom Women’s House’ a new women-only accommodation in Plymouth.

  • In 2023/2024, we celebrated our 30th anniversary bringing together the charity founders, staff, supporters and beneficiaries to celebrate this amazing milestone at various events across the city.

  • We continue to secure significant media attention (BBC News, ITV Westcountry, BBC Radio, Local Radio ) highlighting the impact of our work.

Importantly, we also know that the work we do saves public money:

Over a 5-year period alone, Jasmine Mother’s Recovery (formerly known as Trevi House) represents an ethical and cost-effective saving to local authorities of almost £250,000 per family.
